STAR TRIBUNE: 02.27.04
Art Spotlight
OPENING: Reveling in challenges, three Minneapolis artists
have embraced such oddball materials as Wite-out, red litho
tape, mylar, wax, stickers, maps, blueprints, Polaroid photos
and house paints. They've created landscapes, abstractions
and sweet little scenes such as "Pompeii," the
drawing of bird-and-map by Mike Carina, shown here. Other
artists include Gregory Euclide and Rebecca Silus. (Reception
7-10 p.m. Sat., Rosalux Gallery, 1011 Washington Av. S.,
Mpls. Free. Show Tue.-March 31. Free. 612-747-3942 or http://www.rosaluxgallery.com.)
