Submissions

Rosalux Gallery currently has an open  membership opportunity available in the collective, and we are inviting artists from the twin cities area to apply. Membership requires monthly dues of $95, which go to help covering the overhead of running the gallery, as well as a minimum of 5 hours per month of your time to help the staff the gallery and attend events during our hours of operation. We also encourage all members to be involved in the governance, marketing, and planning of the gallery. Artists who volunteer more time are rewarded for their service with preference given to them when planning our annual exhibition programming. In return for meeting their membership requirements, Rosalux members receive one annual exhibition in the main galleries paired with another member, inclusion in the gallery shop, presence on the gallery website, access to all of our audience databases, access to our in house professional practice seminars for studio disciplines and the opportunity to be a part of the network of artists who have participated in the gallery over the years.

 

Applications will be accepted until Tuesday, August 27th at midnight and notifications will be sent out the first week of September. If you are interested in applying we ask that you submit the following:

 

12 recent JPEG image samples of work completed in the past two years

A separate image list with titles, dimensions, media and date of completion

An artist statement describing your point of view as an artist

A current exhibition history
